Privacy

Lockstep doesn't collect any data about you. No accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking.

What stays on your device

Your stars, best scores, streak and settings are saved on your device. On this website, today's puzzle and your stars for it are kept in your browser's local storage.

Apple services

If you're signed in to iCloud, the app syncs your progress between your devices using Apple's iCloud. If you use Game Center, scores and achievements go to Apple's Game Center. Both are run by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; we can't see that data.

Purchases

Lockstep Complete is bought through the App Store. Apple handles payment; we only learn that the app is unlocked on your devices.

Reminders

If you turn on streak reminders, they're scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent to us.
